Charging & Collection Policy

Charging

In order to maintian our program as a self-sustaining department of School District No. 25, we ask all parents to keep a positive balance in their student(s) account.  However, we understand that there are times it becomes necessary to charge to students.  The School Food Service Staff will allow any child to charge meals at all locations, regardless of his/her eligibility until they have charged a total of 5 meals.  After a student has a negative balance totalling 5 meals, they will no longer be allowed to charge meals.  Letters are sent home via U.S. mail when a student reaches a zero account balance as a courtesy to you. Please make sure your mailing address is current in our system. You may click here for a printable version of our charging policy.

Collections

We strive to work with all parents in regards to payment of their student(s) accounts.  We will make payment arrangements with you.  If you need to discuss this option, please call our office at 235-3265 to make payment arrangements.

If an account has not been paid as requested, a notice will be sent to your home stating the account is being turned in for collections.  You will be contacted by Bonneville Collections after your account has been turned over.  You may contact them at 552-9969.
